Sereneview was founded by photographer Ernesto Rodriguez in 2002 in response to research data indicating that, when people view nature, it lowers their blood pressure, lessens their anxiety, and reduces the need for pain medication, all of which can lead to shorter hospital stays. And as a fellow artist, Rodriguez has broken new ground to provide designers with creative ways to incorporate elements of nature through murals, curtains, and lighting.
